The Salty Dog is a lot friendlier than it sounds. This classic cocktail is a modified Greyhound that is differentiated by the drink’s salted rim.

- 5½ ounces gin
- 3 ounces grapefruit juice
- coarse salt
- 1 grapefruit slice
- 3 ice cubes
Directions
- Wet the rim of a highball glass. and dip it in coarse salt.
- Dip the rim in coarse salt.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Then add the gin and grapefruit juice.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with a grapefruit slice.
