The Lafayette is an embellishment of the “Perfect Manhattan” (sometimes called “Medium Manhattan”), which is a Manhattan with half the sweet Italian vermouth replaced with dry French vermouth.

Ingredients

• 60 ml Rye Whiskey
• 10 ml Dry Vermouth
• 10 ml Dubonnet
• 1 dash Bitters
• 1 whole Maraschino Berry

Directions

1. Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes.
2. Add all ingredients.
3. Garnish with a maraschino berry.
