Ingredients

  • 1 cup white rice, uncooked and washed
  • 1 can (16 oz) condensed milk
  • 1 can (16 oz) evaporated milk
  • 2 liter water
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • Cinammon sticks (to taste)
  • Ice (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Put half a liter of water to heat in a pot. When it starts to boil, remove from the heat and add the rice. Let the rice soak for at least one hour.
  2. Put the rice in the blender together with the water in which it was soaked and blend until everything is finely ground. Transfer the mixture to a large pitcher.
  3. Add the condensed milk, the evaporated milk, the liter and a half of water, the sugar, the vanilla extract and the cinnamon. Stir until well incorporated.
  4. Serve over ice. If desired, sprinkle cinnamon powder.
