Afghan ginger tea that is refreshing on hot days or when you feel sick.

Ingredients

  • 3 tsp Green tea
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 2-3 tsp Ground ginger
  • 1 tbs Walnuts, very finely chopped or ground
  • 3 ½ cups Water

Directions

  1. Bring 3½ cups water to a boil in a pan, then add the tea and sugar. Continue boiling for about 2 minutes, then strain.
  2. Pour the tea back into the pan and add the ground ginger and walnuts.
  3. Boil again for about 2 minutes.
